Flipkart sells tech start-up Arzoo to Moksha Group

Arzoo, a B2B retail tech startup founded in 2018 by former Flipkart executives Khushnood Khan and Rishiraj Rathore, was sold to Moksha Group due to the financial crisis, according to reports.

As part of the deal, Moksha Group will acquire Arzoo's technology platform, intellectual property, trademarks and private label brand. Financial details were not disclosed.

According to some reports, Arzoo's problems started with the huge price discounts and incentives offered to retailers during the last Diwali sale. At the same time, one person withdrew the loan, which led to the collapse of the company.

It is reported that the company had initiated discussions for a buyout in early 2024 and was in talks with several B2B companies.
