Amul has partnered with the Michigan Milk Producers Association.
India's leading milk product brand-Amul is all set to enter America. The Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF) is gearing up to produce milk outside India for the first time. As part of this, the four variants of Amul Milk namely Amul Tasa, Amul Gold, Amul Shakti and Amul Slim n Trim will be introduced in the American market within a week.

GCMMF Managing Director Jayan Mehta said that this is the first time that Amul, which has been exporting various types of milk products to over 50 countries, is producing milk outside India. The Federation has partnered with the 108-year-old Michigan Milk Producers Association (MMPA).
While the Michigan Milk Producers Association will handle milk collection and processing, the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation will oversee the marketing and branding of Amul Fresh Milk.
Initially targeting major cities like New York, New Jersey, Chicago, Washington, Dallas and Texas, the company will mainly target non-resident Indians and Asians. The company also plans to launch other dairy products including paneer, curd and buttermilk at these locations.
