Amazon Seller Services, which runs the business of Amazon India's commerce division, has seen robust growth in its operations and revenue in the financial year 2024 (FY24). In FY 2024, ₹2, 771.2 crore was spent on salaries and other privileges of workers. This is 0.8% lower than the expenditure in FY23.

Expenditure on legal matters in FY24 was ₹3, 530.2 crore as compared to ₹3, 598.8 crore in FY23 (2% lower)
Advertisement:
In FY24, ₹3, 586.1 crore was spent on advertising and publicity. In FY23, it was ₹3,209 crore. 12%.
A variety of costs:
Other expenses stood at ₹5, 132.4 crore in FY24, up 5% from ₹4, 875.8 crore in FY23.
In addition to this, the company has issued 83 crore new shares in this financial year, thereby boosting investment and ushering in growth.

In FY24, the company's net loss narrowed by 28.5 per cent to Rs 3, 469.50 crore. It was Rs 4, 854.1 crore in FY23.
Revenue increased by 14.4 percent.
The operating income of Amazon Seller Services crossed ₹25,406 crore, up 14.4%. In FY23, it was ₹22,198 crore. The company's total income, including other income, stood at Rs 25, 592.8 crore.
6.5 per cent increase
In FY24, the company's total expenses rose 6.5% to ₹29, 062.3 crore as compared to ₹27, 283.6 crore in FY23.
