SparkCognition, which was based in the US, will now be known as Avathon. Following the rebranding, the company also announced Avathon's larger plan to triple the number of its employees in India over the next 24 months. This AI start-up is going to move forward with big development projects in India.

As the US $100 trillion company grapples with issues such as outdated infrastructure, supply issues, labour shortages and security threats, it has decided to work towards addressing these global challenges and become a critical partner in the industrial sector.

Now Avathon's AI platform has been contracted to provide security monitoring services at 17,000 retail outlets, 83 terminals and 15 airport fuel stations for major oil and gas firms in India.

In India, Avathon is conducting nationwide recruitment efforts to bring back the best in AI and engineering. Avathon's Chief Executive Officer Perwinder Johar said the company is moving ahead with its plans to work towards development
