There are over 580 kilometers of coastline which makes sure Kerala is well-connected with the Arabian Sea. There are major ports in Kochi, Kozhikode, Kollam, and Alappuzha as part of the mainstay of the state's economy, besides the fact that the Cochin Port is claimed to be among the deepest ones in the nation.
Vizhinjam International Port is under construction in Vizhinjam in Thiruvananthapuram district with the goal of transforming Kerala into a premier international shipping terminal. This project, which is at the final stage, will significantly enhance the logistics capacity of the state.
