Beauty and health platform KindLife.in has raised $8 million in a Series A round led by JB-Dooeun TK Fund and MIXI Global Investment with participation from Kalari Capital and some angel investors.
Previously, KindLife.in had raised $2.5 million in seed funding in November 2021 from Kalari Capital, Titan Capital, Java Capital, etc.
The capital will enable KindLife.in to build stronger ties between Korea, Japan and India, the company said in a press release. Their community includes thousands of beauty creators who educate consumers on the latest K-beauty trends, share recommendations and take a first-hand approach to content.
Founded by ShopClues co-founders Radhika Ghai, Vidit Jain and Manasa Garemella, kindlife.in uses proprietary AI technology to help Gen See consumers discover personalized skincare and wellness routines and products. The platform provides exclusive and priority access to popular and trending global beauty brands, including Korean and Japanese brands.
Capitalizing on the growing popularity of K-beauty, fueled by the Hallyu wave, Kindlife aims to cater to India's fast-growing K-beauty market. In the ongoing calendar year, the firm plans to launch more than 20 Korean and Japanese beauty brands on its platform.
