Karnataka-based start-ups are all set to go global, thanks to the Global Innovation Alliance-Market Access Programme (GIA-MAP) of the Kerala state government. Officials said 10 start-ups each have expanded to the UAE, Singapore and Australia markets in the first phase, while seven start-ups have expanded to Belgium.
Since September 2023, about 40 start-ups have benefited from the GIA-MAP of the State Electronics Department, IT-BT (Information Technology-Biotechnology).
Most of them work in areas such as deep tech, aerospace, defence, ed-tech, life sciences, med-tech and cyber security.
These include two Hubballi-based start-ups - Doctorton Tech Private Limited, Vividsparks IT Solutions Private Limited, Mysuru-based Touch Electric, Rootscart in Kalaburagi, one each from RDL Technologies Private Limited from Mangalore and Cosmos Bio Private Limited from Chitradurga. The rest are from Bengaluru.
