Deepinder Goyal-led food delivery platform Zomato has launched a "group ordering" feature that allows users to share a link with friends, enabling everyone to seamlessly add items to the cart. This feature eliminates the hassle for everyone to add their orders.

The launch was announced at Goyal X

"You can now share a link with your friends and everyone can add to cart seamlessly, making ordering together quick and easy." CEO Deepinder Goyal wrote in X. "We are gradually rolling it out to all customers. If the feature is available to you, try it tonight at your house party and let us know how it goes," added Goyal.

In response to a user query on X, Goyal said the company will also introduce a payment splitting feature soon. Meanwhile, Swiggy also has a similar feature that went live a few days ago.
