Zinc, a fintech startup by PaySense co-founder and former PayU Credit CEO Prashant Ranganathan, has raised around Rs 214 crore (USD 25.5 million) led by Nexus Venture Partners.
With this, the company has come out of their secretive nature and is all set to move to a new level. The company said the funds will be used for startup product creation, AI tools development, and service expansion.
"Our initiative aims to reduce the financial pressures of overseas education and provide helpful services to Indian parents to invest in their children's education with confidence," said Ranganathan, Founder and CEO, Zync.
Founded by Ranganathan in 2023, Zync claims to be an edu-wealth startup. Zync aims to be a "full-stack cross-border financial services platform" that will mentor Indian students who wish to study abroad and provide comprehensive solutions to Indian families to address their difficulties in overseas education.
