WiFi, a construction and home improvement platform, has raised Rs 17.5 crore, or $2.1 million, in a pre-Series A round led by Capria Ventures. This is the Mumbai-based company's first round of investment this year. A regulatory filing accessed by Rossi had shown that Wi-Fi's board had passed a special resolution to issue 30,455 pre-series A CCPS at Rs 5,747 to raise Rs 17.5 crore. Capria Ventures contributed Rs 8 crore, Duo Design and Optimistic Trading Company contributed Rs 3 crore and Rs 1.5 crore respectively. Existing investors Bloom Ventures and Singularity Growth also contributed Rs 2 crore and Rs 3 crore each in the pre-Series A round. Wifi raised $2 million in its last seed round in July 2022 According to startup data intelligence platform TheKredible, the company's first round of financing has been valued at around Rs 128 crore (post money). Founded in 2019 by Vikram Sharma and Deepanshu Goyal, Wi-Fi is in the business of on-site installation and post-purchase services for businesses and brands.
