Ola Electric Scooter Catches Fire in Front of Ola Showroom in Bengaluru

An Ola Scooter caught fire in front of an Ola showroom in Karnataka. The video was shared by Congress spokesperson Lavanya Balal Jain on Twitter. In the incident that took place in the BTM Layout area near Jayadeva Hospital in Bengaluru, the video shows the scooter completely engulfed in flames and the people recording it.

Earlier, an Ola electric scooter had caught fire. This incident in front of the showroom has become a big challenge for Ola Electric, which is led by Bhavish Aggarwal.

On October 7, the Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) had issued a notice to Ola Electric. This notice has pointed out hundreds of unresolved grievances and inadequate redressal mechanisms.

"The CCPA is investigating a number of complaints about Ola Electric. The main problem is with the service. Hopefully, the issues faced by consumers will be resolved soon, "the Consumer Affairs Department Secretary said on the incident.

Harish Abhichandani, Chief Financial Officer, Ola Electric, said, "Ola Electric has a comprehensive grievance redressal system in place and out of the 10,644 complaints received so far, 99.1 per cent have been resolved to the complete satisfaction of the customers.
