Kred, a fintech unicorn company led by Kunal Shah, has also launched new insurance products through its own vehicle management platform, Kred Garage.

As part of this new feature, customers will be offered auto insurance with benefits based on their credit score. "Through CREED, the aim is to promote good financial habits," said Akshay Edulia. It has teamed up with three insurance companies to design an insurance product that offers additional discounts to customers with good credit scores.

Bengaluru-headquartered Cred launched Cred Garage in September 2023. It is a platform that works for customers' vehicle-related needs. It also includes a DigiLocker system for driving licences, registration certificates and insurance documents.

Kunal Shah said that the company is going ahead with its plans to launch new products for the next year as well.
