Have you ever heard of a woman who made her place in global business at a time when women power was unheard of?Mallika Srinivasan is known as the Tractor Queen of India.They managed to grow their company to become the third largest tractor manufacturer in the world.Today, Mallika is the owner of a Rs 10,000 crore empire.Mallika is the wife of Indian billionaire Venu Srinivasan.She is currently the Chairman and Managing Director of Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited.

Born in 1959, Mallika Srinivasan was good at studies.He graduated from Madras University.He then earned an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.In 1986, Mallika entered the family business founded by the late renowned industrialist S Anantharamakrishnan.Anantharamakrishnan is known as the 'Detroit of India'.

Today, at the age of 64, Mallika is one of the few women industrialists in charge of a multi-crore manufacturing empire. Mallika has also received the Padma Shri award for her technological transformation and growth in the company. Under their leadership, Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited has emerged as the third largest tractor manufacturer in the world.

She has also served on the boards of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Chennai, Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad, AGCO, Tata Steel and Tata Global Beverages.She recently stepped down as an independent director on the board of Swiggy.
