Kerala Angel Network (KAN), one of India’s leading angel investor networks, has announced an investment of ₹6 crore for the financial year 2024-2025, focusing on high-potential startups in the ecosystem.
The announcement was made on the concluding day of TiEcon 2024, Kerala’s flagship event for entrepreneurs and industry leaders.
“As the funding arm of TiE Kerala, our goal is to invest in and mentor early-stage startups. Our 70+ member network, comprising founders, professionals, and family offices, is committed to supporting innovative ideas,” said KAN President Ravindranath Kamath, emphasizing the network’s mission to foster innovation and entrepreneurship.
KAN plans to focus its investments on high-growth sectors such as artificial intelligence (AI), women’s health, and consumer products. These funds aim to enable startups to address emerging market needs, foster innovation, and benefit both entrepreneurs and investors alike
The network also revealed plans to support seven startups in the upcoming year.
