Deepinder Goyal-led food delivery platform Zomato has launched a "group ordering" feature that allows users to share a link with friends, enabling everyone to seamlessly add items to the cart. This feature eliminates the difficulty for everyone to add their orders.
The launch was announced at Goyal X
"You can now share a link with your friends, and everyone can be seamlessly added to the cart, making it quick and easy to order together. "CEO Deepinder Goyal wrote on Twitter. "We are gradually making it available to all customers. If the feature is available to you, try it out for your house party tonight and let us know how it goes, "Goyal added.
Responding to a user query on X, Goyal said the company will soon introduce a payment splitting feature as well. Meanwhile, Swiggy also has a similar feature that went live a few days ago.
