SlideShare co-founders Amit Ranjan, Jonathan Boutelle and Rashmi Sinha have launched an AI-focused social document sharing platform. Named Jaunt, this initiative works similarly to SlideShare.

The platform allows users to upload files, share, like and follow creators. It offers a feed platform with content across various categories such as business, education, science, and technology.

We're going back to where we left off. While formats such as videos, photos, podcasts, reels, shorts, and spaces are bringing new changes every day, documents are still in their old place. We are trying to bring a change in this situation according to our capabilities, interests and character, "Ranjan wrote in a post on LinkedIn.

Founded in 2006 by John Wilson, Ranjan, Boutelle and Sinha, SlideShare was acquired by LinkedIn in 2012, and later in 2020, US-based e-book and audiobook platform Scribd bought SlideShare from LinkedIn.
