The startup, which makes climate technology products, has won $1 million in the Resilience AI seed funding round. Resilience's investment was secured in a funding round led by Kalaari Capital, which supports enterprises founded by women entrepreneurs.
The funds received will be used for the operations of their flagship platform called Resilience360, which provides end-to-end climate risk management solutions to private and public enterprises. In addition, the funds will be used to develop other solutions, expand its market reach, and conduct research and innovation
Resilience360 uses machine learning and deep climate analytics to build hyperlocal risk maps, automated diagnostics, and standard climate action plans. These tools help businesses and governments prepare for and respond to extreme weather events such as floods, heatwaves, hurricanes, and earthquakes.
Resilience AI is a start-up founded by Samhita R as a solution to the new era of increasing air pollution and climate change.
