Ather Energy doubled its market share to nearly 17% in August and has become the number one EV scooter brand in South India and Gujarat, Ather Energy CEO Tarun Mehta said at the Ather Community Day in 2025. With 416 stores and plans to reach 700 stores, Ather is now second in the E2W market in India, behind TVS Motor and ahead of Ola Electric.

The company has launched its new EL platform “Project Redux” moto-scooter and AtherStack 7.0 with features like voice interaction, pothole alerts and theft prevention. It has also launched a fast charger that helps cover 30 km in 10 minutes and an adaptive cruise control system called Infinite Cruise.

Ather's Rista scooter has received new upgrades, including a touchscreen dashboard and riding modes. The company has grown to 4.5 lakh customers with strong expansion in Gujarat and Maharashtra and continues to improve service through Gold Service Centers.
