Reliance Jio has crossed 500 million users as it celebrates its 9th anniversary. With this, Jio has become the largest mobile data network in the world. It has more users than the combined population of the US, UK and France. Since its launch in 2016, Jio has transformed India's digital landscape by helping people embrace free calls, cheap internet, digital payments, streaming and online services. Jio has played a key role in building India's public digital infrastructure and rolling out the fastest nationwide 5G network.
To thank its customers, Jio has announced special anniversary offers. All 5G smartphone users will get unlimited 5G data between September 5 and 7. It has introduced a ₹349 "Celebration Plan" that includes additional data worth ₹3,000 and subscription vouchers from popular platforms like JioHotstar, JioSaavn Pro, Zomato, Netmeds, AJio, Reliance Digital and EaseMyTrip. Customers who recharge for 12 consecutive months using this plan will get the 13th month free.
For Jio Broadband users, the company is offering two months of JioHome connection for ₹1,200. The plan includes additional benefits like 1,000+ TV channels, unlimited internet, over 12 OTT apps, Amazon Prime Lite and Digital Gold rewards. Committed to ensuring affordable and high-quality connectivity for millions of Indians, Jio said it will continue to launch new services throughout the year.
