UPI transactions hit 19.47 billion in July
UPI transactions in India hit a new record in July, up 5.8% over June and 35% year-on-year. PhonePe led the market with 893 crore transactions worth ₹12.20 lakh crore, capturing a 46.64% share, followed by Google Pay with 692 crore transactions worth ₹8.91 lakh crore and a 36.15% share. The total UPI transaction value reached ₹25.08 lakh crore, up 4.3% over June.
