Meta has reportedly laid off about 600 employees from its artificial intelligence (AI) division. The job cuts are mainly affecting the Fundamental AI Research (FAIR) team and the Superintelligence Labs, which work on AI and infrastructure projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite the layoffs, Meta\u2019s new TBD lab is still hiring. The company said the reorganization aims to streamline decision-making and give employees more responsibility. Those who lost their jobs can apply for other positions at Meta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
