Discussions about assembling devices in India have been held between Apple, its suppliers, and both central and state governments.
In the first half of FY25, Apple’s suppliers estimate a production value of $9 billion (approximately ₹75,000 crore).
By the end of the fiscal year, India is expected to contribute 17-18% of global production volume and 14% of its value.
In FY24, 12-14% of global production volume was shifted to India, accounting for a 10% contribution in production value. For FY25, Apple’s suppliers are forecasting a production value of $18 billion (about ₹1,50,000 crore).
