Reports suggest that by 2026-27, Apple is likely to manufacture 32% of its global iPhone production in India.
A Business Standard report indicates that Apple aims to produce 32% of its global output and 26% of its value from India.
Discussions about assembling devices in India have been held between Apple, its suppliers, and both central and state governments.

In the first half of FY25, Apple’s suppliers estimate a production value of $9 billion (approximately ₹75,000 crore).

By the end of the fiscal year, India is expected to contribute 17-18% of global production volume and 14% of its value.

In FY24, 12-14% of global production volume was shifted to India, accounting for a 10% contribution in production value. For FY25, Apple’s suppliers are forecasting a production value of $18 billion (about ₹1,50,000 crore).
