Audio series platform Pocket FM reported global revenue of ₹1,051.97 crore for the financial year 2024, a 496% (6x) increase compared to ₹176.36 crore in FY23. This growth is attributed to its microtransaction-driven subscription model and expansion into international markets, including the US.
Simultaneously, Pocket FM managed to reduce its losses by 21%, bringing them down to ₹165 crore in FY24.
"Our microtransaction-based subscription model has scaled with tremendous success," said Anurag Sharma, CFO of Pocket FM. Subscription revenue grew 6x from ₹160.05 crore in FY23 to ₹934.73 crore in FY24.

Additionally, users now spend an average of 120 minutes daily on the app, showcasing significant engagement, he added.
