A Malayalee start-up named Story Brain has been selected in the Flipkart Leap Innovation Network (FLIN) program aimed at Flipkart's innovation. StoryBrain was one of 5 startups selected from more than 500 applications.

Through this program, StoryBrain will collaborate with Flipkart's product teams and get a chance to execute projects. The aim is to make the digital shopping experience more engaging by turning e-commerce product pages into short videos.

The selection of StoryBrain to Flipkart's program is considered an achievement for Kerala's growing technology ecosystem and the change that Kerala's entrepreneurs are creating in the global AI sector and e-commerce sector.

Storybrain was founded in October 2019 in Singapore by Malayali entrepreneurs Jiku Jose (CEO) and Jibin Mathew (CTO). The startup has come up with a major innovation to instantly convert product descriptions into short video through a technology called 'MediaSummary'.

StoryBrain has been selected as one of Google's 25 top AI startups in Singapore this year.
