Fintech unicorn CRED, led by Kunal Shah, has introduced new insurance products through its vehicle management platform, CRED Garage.

As part of this new offering, users can access motor insurance with added benefits based on their credit scores. “At CRED, our goal is to encourage good financial habits,” said Akshay Aedulia. This insurance product was developed in collaboration with three insurance companies, offering additional discounts to customers with good credit scores.

The Bengaluru-based CRED launched CRED Garage in September 2023 as a platform to meet the vehicle-related needs of its customers. The platform also includes a DigiLocker feature, allowing users to store documents like driving licenses, registration certificates, and insurance papers.

Kunal Shah also announced that the company plans to launch new products in the coming year.
