Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan topped the list of celebrity taxpayers for the 2023-24 fiscal year, with an advance tax payment of Rs 92 crore. According to Fortune India magazine’s "The Star Cast" list, Tamil star Vijay took the second spot with Rs 80 crore.

Film star Salman Khan ranked third, paying Rs 75 crore, while Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan was fourth with Rs 71 crore. Among Indian cricketers, Virat Kohli emerged as the highest taxpayer, contributing Rs 66 crore in advance tax for the 2023-24 fiscal year.

Other notable celebrities include Ajay Devgn (Rs 42 crore), Ranbir Kapoor (Rs 36 crore), Hrithik Roshan (Rs 28 crore), Kapil Sharma (Rs 26 crore), Kareena Kapoor (Rs 20 crore), and Shahid Kapoor (Rs 14 crore).

Malayalam actor Mohanlal and Telugu star Allu Arjun also paid Rs 14 crore each, while Kiara Advani paid Rs 12 crore. Katrina Kaif and Pankaj Tripathi each contributed Rs 11 crore, and Aamir Khan paid Rs 10 crore.

In cricket, MS Dhoni paid Rs 38 crore, followed by Sachin Tendulkar with Rs 28 crore and Sourav Ganguly with Rs 23 crore.

Hardik Pandya paid Rs 13 crore, while Rishabh Pant contributed Rs 10 crore in taxes.
