Leading skincare brand Minimalist has seen a strong performance in its revenue after being acquired by Hindustan Unilever (HUL). The company's operating income rose 36 percent to Rs 690.2 crore for the financial year ended March 2026. The company's net profit (PAT) for the financial year was Rs 25.9 crore.
Along with the revenue, the company's expenses also increased significantly. Total expenses during the period rose to Rs 664.8 crore. The largest expense was on advertisements and promotions; it increased by 55 percent to around Rs 235 crore. The company used the remaining amount for distribution costs, employee benefits and other operating expenses.
HUL acquired 90.5 percent of the shares of this digital-first brand, which was launched in 2020 by Mohit Yadav and Rahul Yadav, in January 2025. The acquisition was aimed at further strengthening its presence in the premium beauty space. Minimalist now aims to further expand its research, distribution network and offline market with the support of HUL.
