Reliance Retail is expanding its four-hour clothing delivery service 'Ajio Rush' to over 600 cities, further strengthening its quick commerce platform. In addition, the company has also started trials to deliver electronics and fashion products to customers in just two hours. The company has recorded a 300% growth in hyperlocal delivery orders for JioMart in the quarter compared to the previous year.

Reliance Retail, which performed well financially, saw its operating income grow 11.1% to Rs 87,344 crore. Profit also increased marginally to Rs 3,563 crore. JioMart acquired 5.8 million new customers during the period. The company has decided to make the most of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in its business to achieve further growth in the future.

Reliance's digital streaming platform JioHotstar has been a strong performer during the period. The platform has gained 500 million monthly users in the wake of the T20 Cricket World Cup. While Reliance's digital arm Jio Platforms' profit rose 13% to Rs 7,935 crore, parent company Reliance Industries' (RIL) overall profit fell 8.1% to Rs 20,616 crore.
