Flexible CEO Karthik Sreedharan shared his conversation on WhatsApp. In it, an intern quits her internship at the company, saying that she no longer needs it as she has received funding for her AI startup. Flexible is a global platform to connect tech companies with freelance software developers and designers.

Kartik shared a screenshot of the conversation with the caption, "Happening only in Bangalore. In it, when asked why he didn't show up at the office last Friday, the intern says he's on vacation because he has a meeting with a venture capitalist.

In addition, the intern said that she no longer needs an internship as her AI start-up has received funding. The screenshot has received more than five lakh likes. There are different reactions to the post with some congratulating the intern for the start-up and others criticising the way she left the internship.
