OpenAI has launched its latest and most powerful AI model, ‘GPT-6 Astra’. It is an advanced autonomous AI system that can operate computers, manage websites, and manipulate software and documents with minimal human intervention. With a capacity of 1.05 million tokens, the model is capable of performing complex multi-step tasks on its own.

Having scored well in tests in the fields of math and science, the model will complete professional tasks with great speed and accuracy. Initially available to a select few organizations, the service will soon be available to ChatGPT’s Plus, Pro, and Enterprise customers. The pricing is set at $10 for one million input tokens and $50 for one million output tokens.

OpenAI aims to create fierce competition for rivals like Google and Anthropic in the field of 'Agentic AI', which is capable of doing things on its own. The GPT-6 Astra, which performs well in software engineering and coding, is also the first model to achieve the important achievement of 'Critical' in OpenAI's cybersecurity standards.
