Drone technology startup IG Drones has raised $1 million in a funding round led by India Accelerator, with participation from other angel investors.
The company said it will focus on research and development with a focus on creating drone solutions for defence needs using the fund. The startup is supported by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.
IG Drones plans to raise another $3 million in the next six months to further expand its operations in India and globally.

IG Drones, co-founded by Sanghapriya and Om Prakash, offers services like surveying, mapping and inspection. The company has collaborated with the Indian Army, multiple state governments and over 100 large enterprises.
